From our clients…

  • I look at those curtains and I think how beautifully they have been made, with love and care, two years down the line, thank you for such lovely work.

  • We cannot recommend Louise highly enough. We are so delighted with our curtains, blinds and cushions. They have transformed our rooms. Right from the initial meeting to discuss our ideas and treatments for the spaces, to recommending and discussing fabrics, through to the final fittings and beautifully finished results. Louise is a real pleasure to work with. The exceptionally high-quality finish and personal service are second to none. Thank you very much.

  • Louise didn’t just make our curtains and blinds to our specification, she advised us and ultimately made what we were doing something that genuinely gives us pleasure every day. And it didn’t cost a penny more, in fact, the fabric we chose, in the end, was cheaper than the one we started off thinking we wanted!

  • A friend recommended Louise and I didn’t honestly appreciate how much of a difference she would make. It was the whole service of advice and ideas and then the quality of what you get is just something you can tell is on a different level to anything you can get out of a John Lewis or the obvious places.

  • We’ve tried many different curtains and blinds providers over the years, John Lewis, Laura Ashley and some of the cheaper online providers. However, we have never been so satisfied as when we found Louise Cowan. Hers is a personal service so that you can make sure that you get the best window covering suitable to your taste and budget without any expensive mistakes. Her blinds and curtains are also the very best quality. She’s now our ‘go to’ windows and blinds person!

  • I have been delighted by the curtains and blinds for the two bedrooms, so pleased in fact that I look forward to you returning this year to tackle more of the rooms.

  • I asked Louise to create some blinds for our dining room bay window. I had already chosen my London themed fabric, however, Louise added her own ideas and suggestions that were completely inspiring, including backing the blind with a vintage ticking, visible from the outside and that not only wholly complemented the main fabric but my own style. Her bespoke workmanship is wonderful, her eye for detail scrupulous, her manner and delivery warm and friendly but always very professional, with everything being made and delivered on time and to quote. There is still never a day goes by when I don’t look at those blinds with love!

  • Louise created beautiful blinds and pelmets for our newly decorated bedroom. They really are the perfect finishing touch. Fabric swatches were waiting for us when we returned from holiday and the job was completed within a few weeks. Excellent service, thank you!

It’s amazing what a beautiful pair of curtains can do to a room. Wave heading curtains create soft, continuous folds around the harder lines of the window, while stacking back neatly to make the most of the light.

These were fitted in a guest bedroom, the perfect place to have a little fun with pattern and create a real wow moment.

Made by hand, made to fit, and made to be beautiful….
