I was asked to design and make curtains for the men and ladies changing rooms. I designed the curtains so they looked equally beautiful on inside the changing room as the outside. For the ladies changing rooms we went with a beautiful subtle French toile on the outside, and a complimenting stripe in the same shades for inside the changing room. Traditional pinch pleats were the chosen heading to suit the style of the shop and the period style of the building.
The menswear changing room required a more masculine feel, so I used the bold stripy fabric, using it for both the inside and outside of the curtain, to maximise the effect inside the changing room for customers. Cartridge pleats were the chosen heading as once again these still have a traditional look to them but also are more masculine.
In all the changing rooms I used Cameron Fuller metal poles with lovely simple ball ends.
